Cost of Proton Therapy
What Does Proton Therapy Cost?
The cost of proton therapy is dependent on
many factors in the US and other international destinations,
including network status, copayments, deductibles and out-of-pocket
requirements. In the US some patients are compensated by insurance or Medicaid
to US citizens.
At the NCC Proton Therapy Center in Seoul, Korea, and PTC Center in Prague, case managers work
with you and your insurance company to seek authorization and coverage if
possible from your country's insurer. In most cases,
international patients will need to consider an out of pocket cash
price for treatment.
If you are self-paid, we arrange favorable payment transfers
and offer discounts. Typical prostate cancer treatment quote is
approx. 1/3 to 1/4 of United States Centers. Most treatment quotes from other centers do
not cover the housing, transportation or living expenses associated
with treatment. The NCC and Prague PTC foreign package includes treatment,
consultation, including diagnostic and laboratory tests, in some cases accommodations, daily transportation, cell phone, transfer to and from
airport and complete 24 hour concierge coverage. Start
consultation on blog form or contact me at curtispoling@gmail.com.
