Today, cancer is the second highest cause of death in developed countries. Its treatment still presents a real challenge. At NCC Proton Center in Seoul, we consider each day as a new challenge in the ongoing struggle to find ways of fighting this disease.

Approximately 45% of all patients can now be cured through the role of surgery, radiotherapy and/or chemotherapy. Nearly 50% of all Patients receive radiation therapy during the course of their treatment. Of the 130,000 new patients eligible to undergo Particle Therapy in the U.S alone every year, only 5% of them will have the opportunity to actually benefit from this new technology.
